I'm basically just gonna try to write an incredibly insightful post about the law of attraction. Read carefully…
What is the law of attraction?
The law of attraction is basically the idea that what happens in our mind affects the world, or in other words- how we think affects what happens in our life.
If we’re feeling negative about something, we’re going to think negative thoughts about it, and, because we naturally believe our perspective to be true 99% of the time, we will act as if our interpretation of the situation is the real way, as opposed to one of an infinite number of ways of interpreting the situation.
Our actions align with whatever we believe is the truth, so if we truly believe that we are sexually attractive, we will, when around potential mates, come across as sexually attractive because our belief that it is the truth causes us to act like someone who is such.
Instead of focusing on the things we don’t want to happen in our life, we shift our focus and we think about the things that we do want to happen in our life.
Example:
It's the first time we've started a new business and we naturally have some fears. Naturally we wonder whether it’s gonna work, whether we’ll be able to pay the bills, employees, etc. Worry about the loss of money is a constant, daily occurrence. As we’re building this business, our mind may naturally focus on the problems. Our focus will be on “How will I make this business not fail?”. We’re always thinking about how the business could potentially fail- always planning against destruction.
Some of us focus on what we don’t like about our living situation, relationships, money situation, etc. Some are going through life and focusing on what they don’t like: I don’t like the traffic jam I’m in, I don't like the things I have to do, etc. The 'vibe' of what we focus on determines what we see more of in our life. So if we've recently had an argument with our spouse, we should think about getting closer, not worrying about whether the relationship might end.
What does 'Negative' and 'Positive' mean?
Think about how a ramp can be used for a motorcyclist to leap over a river- remember to use these words like a ramp to get to the other side. The words will get you to the understanding only if you earnestly use them.
Interpreting life in a negative way pretty much means believing that what we don't want is gonna happen, or is happening. For example, someone might look around and feel negative about not having as much money as they'd like. In order to start to see things more positively, they should take notice of the things that are happening right now that they are grateful for, or that they do like.
It's hard to be resourceful when focusing on the negative
We are not gonna take resourceful action if our thoughts are negative- it's like running a race against Usain Bolt- some people would run slower than they could because they believe that they simply can't win so they might as well not try their absolute best. Some would take on the challenge and run as fast as they could just for a laugh. From the position of anxiety and insecurity our actions tend to be feeble and sometimes destructive to our health, relationships, finances, etc. Worrying about something too much often leads to taking the actions that lead to that thing coming true, because our thoughts and emotions are aligned with that being true.
We can manifest what we want by thinking about what we want, and this necessarily makes us feel good. Some people cringe after successfully using their mind to feel good on purpose. It's like hugging a person who has scars all over their body. I wonder why this is- maybe it's because it's painful to realise that our entire lives could be different if we just knew all this earlier.
Stay kind to yourself and manifest positive things with positive thoughts. Look for things in a situation that you feel grateful for and stay focused on the situation you want to create.
Evidence for beliefs
To believe stuff, we need evidence... This is why watching YouTube videos endlessly about negative stuff is so dangerous because we can voluntarily keep seeing evidence that supports our negative beliefs, and our negative outlook on the world can become rock-solid. I've done this quite a lot recently, and it's obvious that I need to stop doing it.
What if?
Examples of 'what if' + what I don't want
What if I invest some money into spending a few days in a hostel and the train ride there is miserable, the room is dirty, the people are negative, and I regret the whole thing while losing money for nothing.
Examples of 'what if' + what I do want
What if I invest some money into staying in a hostel and I have a great time and I make some actual friends. Maybe the room's not that great but I can manage to get to sleep fine with my ear defenders and ear plugs and I get to experience awesome things.
Thinking about the negative is a very natural thing to do.
There’s some problem areas of our lives
It must be tried with faith, confidence, and consistency. You start to impose your reality on the world.
The vibration of our thoughts affect the nature of our actions, which greatly affect whether we get what we want.
Why do we think negatively?
Humans interpret things negatively simply because we want to avoid danger- we're definitely not gonna do something which we believe is dangerous, so our fear guarantees our safety. While thinking fearfully about nightclubs successfully gets us to stay out of nightclubs, thinking fearfully about losing money often leads to losing money and staying poor. When there's fear there's usually a desire somewhere- the fear of nightclubs is usually accompanied by the desire for new friendships, sex, dancing, social status, money, etc. which nightclubs can help us get. The fear of losing money is always accompanied by the desire to be financially-free.

The way I think of the law of attraction is this:
When we focus on what we _do_ want to happen, it’s more likely to happen because when our mind believes that it can happen, we take different actions than when we don’t believe that it will happen
For example, if we want business success and continually focus our mind on what we _do_ want (making a big sale, for example) we’re much more likely to make a big sale when the opportunity arises because we’ve visualised ourselves making the big sale. Imagine the person who sees through a lens of failure- this person will find it hard to make big sales- _even if_ he wants it even more than the person who sees themself as a winner
So it seems like things are magically attracting to us, but really we’re just taking advantage of how the mind works - when we focus on what we do want, it’s much easier to get / experience those things because we’re interpreting reality through the lens of success instead of failure, what we _do_ want instead did what we _don’t_ want
It works for spiritual development too- if you focus on how you’re gonna be depressed / unenlightened forever, you’re gonna progress very slowly
