Anyone experiences knowing you can use your mind to do something while in a group of people, but fail due to social pressure?
Practice using the mind while with others. There are many things we can do with the mind. Mathematics, remembering, creating solutions, etc.
One practice to start off with is doing mental maths randomly with a social group, putting oneself in the situation of having a small amount of pressure to use the mind effectively. This may be difficult for many due to experiences in childhood at school. You could say something casually like “I bet you can’t add those two numbers up quicker than me”, pointing to two numbers in the environment.
The purpose of this is to became more able to use the mind effectively in more serious situations, like remembering addresses and phone numbers, winning debates, creating things improvisational to show off.
